That breaks down to 181,000 jobs and CDN$26 billion in economic activity in Ontario and Quebec.

Ottawa, Ontario – Robust grain exports have boosted St. Lawrence Seaway shipping this spring after a slow start due to difficult ice conditions in the Great Lakes.
According to The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation, Canadian grain shipments via the St. Lawrence Seaway totaled 1.9 million metric tons, up 11 per cent compared to the same period last year.
